Wooden Pencil Manufacturing Process
For the manufacture of lead, you will need to mix the high-grade graphite powder with ball clay in the required proportion. Then charge it into a ball mill with a sufficient quantity of water for wet grinding. In addition, decant the filtrate and dry the pressed cake in a baking oven.
Then knead the dried materials in a kneading machine for further homogenizing. Additionally, press the kneaded materials into billets. Then feed it into an extrusion machine for making the lead slip of the desired diameter. Finally, sort out the lead slips and mark them.
For the manufacturing of pencils, feed the slats into an automatic shaping and grooving machine. Here you can make grooves of the required dimensions. Finally, pack the finished products in cardboard boxes with 12 dozens of pencils each.
