Flipkart Seller Registration As An Individual

As an individual, you can sell products on Flipkart on your own name. And in that case, your business will automatically be considered as a proprietorship firm. To get Flipkart seller registration as individual following documents need to be submitted:

1. Identity Proof

  • Signed declaration on the business letterhead stating that the individual owns and manages the bank account held in the name of the business.
  • Statement of bank accounting registered on Flipkart payment gateway.
  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Voters ID
  • Driving License
  • Any other photo identity card

Flipkart Seller Registration As LLP / Partnership Firm

As LLP or partnership firm, you can register your company as Flipkart seller. In that case, you will need to have following documents:

1. Identity Proof

  • Partnership registration or LLP Incorporation Certificate
  • Partnership deed
  • Power of Attorney granted to a Partner or an Employee of the LLP or Partnership firm to transact business on its behalf
  • Any document identifying Partners and the person holding the Power of Attorney with their photographs
  • PAN Card of the LLP or Partnership Firm

2. Address Proof

  • Any officially valid document confirming the address of the Partners and the persons holding the Power of Attorney

Flipkart Seller Registration As Pvt Ltd Or Ltd Company

To get Flipkart seller registration as Pvt. Ltd or Public Limited Company you must submit following documents:

1. Identity Proof

  • Copy of Certificate of Incorporation of Private Limited Company
  • Copy of Memorandum of Association
  • Company PAN Card

2. Address Proof

  • Company Telephone bill (Fixed line)
  • Company Electricity bill
  • Lease or rental agreement

Apart from these Trusts and Foundations can also become sellers on Flipkart. Similar documents must be provided in the name of the Trust or Foundation to establish the legal identity of the Trust / Foundation.

After providing all information, documents, and registration Flipkart will contact you within seven days for further verification. When Flipkart will approve your seller account, you can list your product on Flipkart website and start selling. Once an order is received, pack the product and mark it as ‘Ready to Dispatch’. Flipkart’s logistics partner will pick up the product and deliver it to the customer. Then Flipkart will transfer the money to sellers on a periodic basis.
